Salon Appointment Terms and Conditions

I am a fully insured professional cat groomer. I take pride in the way I work with both cats and their owners and put the utmost care into ensuring that I provide an excellent customer experience.

Appointments

Once the deposit for the appointment has been taken and the appointment has been confirmed, the following conditions apply and the deposit will be non-refundable if any of the following occur:

  •  Cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment

  •  Non attendance on the day if the appointment

  •  If the groom can not commence or has to be abandoned due to excessive aggression from your cat where   potential behavioural issues have not been previously discussed or disclosed.

  •  Discovery on arrival at the salon of any undisclosed illness of injury to the cat which will prevent the groom   from taking place.

In the event that I need to cancel the appointment at short notice, your deposit will of course be refunded or held  if you would like to reschedule.

Please drop your cat off at my home address 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time and pick up at  the arranged time. Failure to do this may result in the groom not being able to go ahead as I run my appointments back to back and lateness will impact on other customers. If for any reason you are going to be late either dropping off or picking up please make me aware as soon as possible so I can do what I can to accommodate.

It is your responsibility to bring your cat in a secure carrier (unless previously discussed) and the safety and security of your cat will be your responsibility until they are handed over to me in the grooming pod.

 

Groom Price

An estimated price for the groom will have been provided in our initial conversation. After I have assessed your cat on the day of the groom, I reserve the right to alter that price if it is felt necessary due to coat condition etc.            If applicable, any degree of matting or tangling to be dealt with and subsequently the final price of the groom will be agreed at that time (as discussed at the time of booking)

 

 

Health and Safety

Please be aware that working with animals and ensuring their welfare sometimes means that some aspects of a groom can not be completed for safety reasons. This could be as a result of heightened stress or aggressive behaviour from your cat or from my concern for a medical reason.

It is possible that an accident could occur during grooming. Utmost care and caution will always be taken by myself, but cuts, scratches, nicks and quicking of nails can occasionally occur. Should any of the aforementioned minor accidents happen I will inform you when picking up your cat following the groom.

 

Health and Medical Conditions

Occasionally grooming can expose a previously hidden medical issue or aggravate a current one. This can happen during or after a groom procedure. The grooming environment can potentially be stressful for some pets, especially for senior, very young, overweight cats or those with medical concerns. This agreement will give CutieCatz Grooming the permission to seek emergency veterinary treatment if deemed necessary for what ever reason. I will do my best to contact you first before taking your cat for treatment however this may not always be possible. Unless I am deemed to be at fault, all medical expenses are the responsibility of the owner.

 

GDPR Statement

In order to provide the requested services, CutieCatz Grooming is required to obtain and store a limited amount of your personal information. Such information will be stored in accordance with current legislation and will never be shared with any 3rd parties or organisations. You have the right to request or review any of your personal information at any time.

Mobile Appointment Terms and Conditions

Once the deposit is taken and the appointment confirmed, the following conditions apply and the deposit will be non refundable if any of the following occur

  • Cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Failure to provide a suitable grooming space (requirements discussed and agreed at the time of booking). If the groom can not go ahead because of this my mileage fee will still apply.

  • If the groom can not commence or has to be abandoned due to excessive aggression from your cat where any potential behavioural issues has not been previously discussed or disclosed.

  • Discovery on arrival at the salon of any undisclosed illness or injury to the cat which will prevent the groom from taking place.

If I need to cancel the appointment at short notice (this will only be done in an emergency), your deposit will of course be refunded or held if you would like to reschedule.

An estimated price for the groom will have been provided in our prior discussions. After I have assessed your cats coat condition on the day of the groom I reserve the right to alter that price if it is felt necessary due to condition.

 If applicable, any degree of matting or tangling to be dealt with and the final price of the groom will be agreed at that time (as mentioned at the time of booking).
